Coming Together with Phaze
CINCINNATI – Phaze, the erotic imprint of Mundania Press, is delighted to announce the publication of its first anthology to benefit charity. The Special Hurricane Relief Edition of Coming Together is a collection of rain-soaked erotica and storm-inspired poetry that includes the work of Phaze authors Will Belegon and Alessia Brio. All royalties generated by the sale of this volume, available 29 October 2006, will be donated to the American Red Cross for disaster relief efforts.
Kathryn Lively, Phaze publisher, notes, "Having lived in the South all my life, I've seen first-hand the devastation a hurricane can do to a community. Though a year has passed since New Orleans experienced Katrina's wrath, we realize there are still wounds to heal, and we are happy to utilize our talents to help this wonderful city any way we can. We hope our readers will do the same in purchasing this terrific book."
The Coming Together anthologies are the result of the collaborative efforts of a diverse group of authors, poets, and illustrators. Four other volumes are also available—with more planned. Regular editions of Coming Together benefit the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which works to protect our online freedom of speech.
"When we, as written word artists, can simultaneously entertain and contribute to a worthwhile cause, everybody wins," says Coming Together's editor, Alessia Brio. "I call it 'erotic altruism'."
