An Interview from our Publisher.

So, this week I got to ask some questions to our publisher, we already know that Jonathan Womack has wonderful taste but now we can find out a little bit more about him and why he chose Coming together.

1, What/who got you started in the ebook publishing business?

The ebook market was an untapped opportunity for growth and we continue to expand in that area.

2, How did you come up with the name Charles River Press?

I wanted a name synonymous with the locality of Boston, one that would convey the prestige of institutions like MIT and Harvard, which line the banks of the Charles River.

3, What in particular made the Coming Together volumes attractive to you as a reader/publisher?

The Coming Together series offers different styles of erotic writing by a multitude of talented authors. I felt the stories within would appeal to torrid readers.

4, Let us into the private world of you, what’s a typical day in the life of Jonathan Womack like?

I’m a certified workaholic, 75 to 80 hours a week. Some days are exhilarating, some days are down right madness. Some day I hope to slow-down enough to take a vacation, maybe even go on a date. I’m not getting any younger.

5, Finally, what are your top three tips for amateur authors wanting to make money from their writing?

For those who are driven to succeed, be prepared to work twice as hard once your book is finished. If you are fortunate enough to find a publisher or agent, marketing your book is an ongoing responsibility. Put together a press kit that shows the uniqueness of your book. Once your first book is published, follow up with a second book to show prospective agents/publishers you are more than a one trick pony.
